Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon seeking a rewarding role in a supportive, well-equipped environment? We have an exciting opportunity at a 24-hour, RCVS-accredited independent hospital in South Yorkshire, located in the vibrant “outdoor city” of Sheffield and close to the stunning Peak District.
The Role
Join a friendly and committed team providing first-opinion care and 24-hour emergency services under one roof. This role offers a mix of consultations and surgeries, with the opportunity to see cases through from start to finish.
Key Details:
- Full-time equivalent: 36–37.5 hours per week (8–9.5-hour shifts with a paid 30-minute lunch).
- Flexible participation in the on-call rota, including weekday and weekend shifts (worked from home with nurse support onsite).
- Option for part-time work with on-call duties.

- Salary: £37,500–£60,000 FTE (dependent on experience).

You’ll be part of a 7-vet team, supported by 9 skilled nurses, 4 friendly receptionists, and a robust administrative team. The practice is fully equipped with cutting-edge facilities, hosting visiting orthopaedic surgeons and a cardiologist for advanced cases.
